1 . Terms of booking the Broadway Suite, Peterborough
a) Once the booking of The Broadway is confirmed, verbally or in writing, you, the client, will be sent a 'Booking Confirmation' form outlining the details of your event and when a deposit and the final balance will be required.
b) Final numbers must be provided to The Broadway via email or telephone (01733 316111, conference@thebroadwaytheatre.co.uk ) 7 days before your event date. Any request for equipment, dietary needs and timing schedules must also be finalised at least 7 days before your event. Please note that numbers given at this time will make up the basis of your invoice. Any changes to the final numbers will be invoiced to you, the client, by The Broadway 24 hours after the event has taken place.
2. Cancellations
a) If you, the client, wish to cancel the booking made with The Broadway, written confirmation of this fact needs to be received by The Broadway within 12 weeks of your event as not to incur any cancellation charges.
If cancellation is made at a later stage, the following charges will apply:
- More than 12 weeks - no charge, all deposits provided (see section 3)
will be returned to you, the client, in full.
- Less than 12 weeks, More than 8 weeks - 50% of all deposits will be
returned to you, the client, in full.
- Less than 8 weeks, More than 6 weeks - 25% of all deposits will be
returned to you, the client, in full.
- Less than 6 weeks - Regretfully no deposits will be returned.
C) The Broadway Suite is entitled to cancel your booking if the circumstances stated below occur:-
i) If it is felt by the management team at the Broadway that your event might, in our reasonable opinion, damage our reputation or the building itself: or
ii)You are more than 14 days late in making any payment due to the Broadway Suite (03 Leisure Ltd).
d) If we have to cancel your booking (unless for one of the reasons stated in 2.c) we will refund all payments made to The Broadway (03 Leisure Ltd) in full. Unless we are able to provide alternative facilities which are acceptable to you, the client.
3. Payments
a) 50% of the quoted balance will be required 14 days after booking confirmation. You may pay by cash, card or cheque, please make cheques payable to '03 Leisure Ltd.'.
b) The remaining balance, once the final numbers have been confirmed, will be required by card or cash 5 days before the event. If paying by cheque, final payment must be received 7 days before the event.
c) Any changes to the final numbers after final payment has been made will be invoiced to you, the client, by The Broadway 24 hours after the event has taken place. Total and concluding payment will be require 7 days after receipt.
4. Other Conditions of Contract of Hire
a) You will not be permitted to attach anything to the walls, ceiling or floor of the Broadway, without our prior consent.
b) If damage to the Broadway Suite occurs by you, a member of your party or by an external supplier, we will seek costs for the repair of the damage, from you, the client.
c) If external suppliers are being used, for example florists, entertainers, bands etc. we must be able to contact them to ensure they adhere to our guidelines about the maintenance of The Broadway and the noise restrictions that we must adhere to.
d) No alcohol or food may be brought into the Broadway without prior permission.
'The Broadway Complex', within which the 'Broadway Suite' sits, is a holding company for '03 Leisure Ltd' '03 Leisure Ltd' trades as The Broadway, any statements made in regard to the 'Broadway Suite' or 'Broadway Complex Group' fall under the umbrella of '03 Leisure Ltd'
