The Top Table |

The top table will be where the Bride Groom and their chosen family members, usually the parents, take their places during the wedding reception. It is tradition as shown above to have the Bride and Groom positioned in the middle of the table and then the gender to alternate of the other guests either side. However, other alternatives are just as popular as to create a happy environment for all concerned on this special day. |
The Receiving Line |
| The receiving line is traditionally, an opportunity for the parents of the Bride and Groom along with the happy couple to greet their guests as they arrive to the wedding reception, just before they are to take their seats. However if there are a large number of guests in your party an alternative is for the Bride and Groom to walk around and have a chat with guests on each table during the reception. Ensuring everyone in attendance has the opportunity to be greeted personally. |
